Eastern Awning Systems, based in Watertown, Connecticut, and owned by Stephen Lukos, was started in 1961. With a penchant for innovation and sharp focus on details, Eastern has evolved as a national leader in the manufacturing and distribution of retractable fabric patio awnings.
Creative forward thinking, such as the urethane compression shoulder joint, has earned the company three product patents with two more patents pending.
In 1996 Eastern passed another milestone with their brand new 37,000 square foot manufacturing facility.
